that cold air is mainly because the polar vortex has moved
from the north pole to siberia
around it is at high altitude in the atmosphere a north wind
raised blowing very cold polar air to europe in the upper air

il vortice polare si è spostato dal polo nord in siberia
ma in atmosfera ad alta quota ( quota superiore )
un vento gelido del nord soffia aria polare
molto fredda verso di noi ... europa

due to the relatively warm sea surface ( SST )

deep layer vertical wind shear is expected to be weak
but low level wind shear is rather strong exceeding 10 m/s over land

steep lapse rates are present near the centre of this Cut off
and CAPE is expected across the mediterranean sea
convective activity is forecast to go on
although models agree on a southerly mid level jet streak
ahead of the Cut off in the morning hours

at the W flank of the forming european long wave Trough
another intense short wave Trough
rapidly moves into france late in the period
a cold front will spread into the W mediterranean in the morning hours
prefrontal air ... moisture ...

models indicate steepening lapse rates ahead of the cold front
due to low-level warm air advection from the W
and decreasing mid level temperatures

this results in CAPE ahead of the cold front that increases to the S
a linear MCS may develop in the morning hours
moving across the W mediterranean sea into the tyrrhenian sea

sembra tutto andare come previsto

da noi oltre alpi è tutto bianco ( causa il nord stau )
adesso sono curioso per questo weekend come prevedono i modelli
invasione mediterraneo causa un cut off ... occhio alle sorprese

da come dice la sinottica ed i modelli stratosferici
il polar vortex non è tanto lontano da noi ( siberia )
cioè si è trasferito in siberia ... venti freddi polari

già nel 2014 ve ne ho accennato ...
di nuovo poco fa volevo postare sinottica e modelli
e sono andati persi nel senso che quando
ho cliccato su Inviare sono andato fuori ( disconnesso )
peccato perchè una volta perso non posso più riscriverlo
non per la sinottica ma più per i modelli rari

sarebbe bello un Update del Forum ( phpBB )
il phpBB memorizza i post mentre in questo vanno persi

il Polar Vortex ( PV ) si è trasferito in siberia
questo vuol dire per le prox +144 h
discese fredda polarre artico dal NE
preso di mira le regioni alpine nord italia
in poche parole il bacino del mediterraneo

un forte getto ( onda ... Jet Streak ) è diretta verso il mediterraneo

in parole povere
sarebbero piccoli Lows secondari che si formano nei Troughs ( ondulazioni )
quindi con simile configurazione barica attuale ( Low Mischka è il principale )
il modello ha difficoltà a farne una previsione in dettaglio
viene detta pure Ciclogenesi => Cyclogenesis

se vi ricordate ve ne ho accennato parecchio
nel 2014 inizio mia registrazione nel forum easymeteo

trattasi in poche parole di un Shapiro Keyser Cyclone
detto pure Norwegian Cyclone model ( vedi appunto Low Mischka )

attualmente si trova un mega Trough con bassissimo gpdm a quota 500 mb
500 hpa => ~5000 m ( vorticity )
basse Temperature elevate ( fino a -36°C a 500 hpa europa centrale )
questo vuol dire per il mediterraneo

of convectively enhanced precipitation
given intense deep layer westerly flow
over most of the mediterranean sea
MU CAPE is forecast to spread well onshore
over the balkan states italy and SW france

models diverge substantially with that convection
so uncertainties remain high
during the night a developing depression
over the SW mediterranean sea results in improving conditions
for a few better organized storms

si nota bene le nostre latitudini sotto un colore blu alias freddo ( PV )
al momento il PV come vi ho accennato si è trasferito ( posizionato ) in siberia

bellissima ed indovinata la sinottica di estofex
dopo avervela accennato io nei post precedenti
incluso modelli e grafici ... spiegazione inclusa

sarebbe L Norbert
Low Mischka è il 1mo L possente ed attivo di questo 2015
dentro il suo raggio si vengono a formarsi L secondari
nel North Sea L Mischka aveva una pressione di 955 mb

non so da voi ma quì in svizzera abbiamo un poco di tutto
vento forte freddo ... neve ... poi un misto di tutto ( mini blizzard )

molto interessanti il modello surface chart a quota 300 mb ed 500 mb
il PV sempre attualmente stazionato in siberia

anche il AO Index è impazzito ( oscilla )
AO Index swing ( swing of AO Index )
